**Job Description:** Job Title: Product Owner / Sr. BA


**Duration:** Contract to Hire


**Description:**


The Product Owner / Lead Business Analyst will be responsible for managing a standalone instance of the application and be the product owner for that work stream. This candidate will be the liaison between business and the development team (a global team) to manage requirements and the work stream pipeline. This position requires a multi-faceted analyst with a professional attitude and willingness to straddle both business and technical assignments. This candidate should be comfortable in a deadline-oriented environment requiring adaptability to changing requests and working across multiple teams to implement large scale projects.


**Requirements:**


- 10+ years of relevant experience in financial service industry, securities lending or prime brokerage experience is highly desirable.


- Strong experience building portfolio management or collateral management applications is required. With an ability to develop end-to-end solution.


- Strong SQL knowledge to query Oracle and SQL databases.


- Strong understanding of Security classifications across Equity and Fixed Income securities.


- Experience with vendor applications like Advent Geneva or Syncova is highly preferred.


- Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing BFD's, and researching and resolving issues.


- Strong experience creating functional requirements/technical specifications from business requirements


- Previous work experience with vendor systems and vendor management is preferred.


- Good communication skills are required. Ability to interact with senior management, setting priorities with the team, etc.


- Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes.


- Provides technical and business knowledge to clients.


- Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments.


- Experience in working with a global team.


- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in finance, economics, computer science or related field.


- CFA would be a plus


**Top Three Must Haves:** Prime Brokerage experience, Securities Lending, Strong SQL


This is working within Securities Finance, Supporting project initiatives under the Risk Infrastructure for SF.


**Software Must haves** : Strong SQL, Python


**Day to Day:** Work with the business users & the technology team to enhance the product to support new requirements.
