The Life Sciences Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all Life Sciences related sales activities in his/her designated region. He/she leads the function to achieve targeted sales growth in line with the company goals, vision and values. In collaboration with the General Manager of the Life Sciences vertical, he/she will develop and execute a regional plan and strategy that is aligned with the corporate vision to expand the client base in his/her area.


**RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Manage all sales activities for his/her region as directed

+ Strategize and execute plans to achieve maximum sales volume as directed

+ Plan, manage and implement sales programs for all LS Sales in his/her region

+ Responsible for achieving sales objectives, monitoring targeted revenue number for individual LS sales representatives, as assigned

+ Train, develop, and mentor sales representatives for his/her region

+ Coach sales representatives on strategic account growth and/or new business development opportunities

+ Oversee handling or may handle key accounts

+ Coordinate budgets and revenue forecasts

+ Provide reports and updates, as needed

+ Maintain thorough knowledge of the regulatory and market trends and regularly share insights with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Quality, and other departments as required

+ Responsible for Interfacing collaboratively with cross-functional and customer-facing support activities including with Client Services, Technical Services, Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Quality, and Operations - with a focus on exceeding customer expectations

+ Assist management in defining future product marketing and services needs of the company through collaboration with the Product Marketing Managers for Commercial and Clinical sub-markets

+ Up to 50% travel required

+ Other duties as assigned


**Qualification:**


+ Ten years of general sales experience, five years of key account management experience

+ Experience or knowledge of the Life Science industry

+ Knowledge and practical understanding of the cold chain and distribution of temperature-sensitive products

+ Strong written and oral communications skills, strong analytical ability, sound reasoning and judgment and the ability to connect effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization

+ Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills


**Education:**


+ Minimum BS/BA degree, engineering or business preferred
